What I want first say about COBRA XRS 9840 model is that it is not an annoying device because it has a pleasant tone which announces you in good time that there is a police waiting for you. It is very easy to set up and the menu is very clear and it also has help options for an easier use. The manual is easy to understand too. The warnings are listed and explained clearly, which is very important. It also alerts for emergency vehicles. There are two things which I don’t like: that it does not have mounted a visor and that its power cord is short and curly, but in rest it is ok. It doesn’t give a lot of false alarms. It works very well and I am pleased with it. I would definitely recommend COBRA XRS 9840 radar detector to everyone.

i need som thing detect for about 2 milles befor i reach the rader if it was movabel or in fixed blace also works through diffrend auto band to serch for any radar in town for the tow milles befor reaching it and for more than 4 milles for the hayways
